Currently there is no ability to merge a duplicate contact wherein contact 1 has an Agent/Team site connection and contact 2 has Smart Plans attached without deleting the Smart Plans.
After manually entering a contact into Command I reached out over the phone and received permission to add him to the My Monthly Neighborhood (MMN) Smart Plan.
Subsequently, he reviewed the email sent from MMN and utilized the "Download My App" button and connected me as his agent.
This created a duplicate contact entry with an @privaterelay.appleid.com email address.
When attempting to merge the contacts I am directed that I can not delete the "Agent/Team Site Connection" and that I would have to deleted any Smart Plans enacted on the manually entered contact before I could merge. This would result in resending the MMN email and reset timelines for any other Smart Plan that was attached.
There should be a way to merge a manually entered contact with an application generated contact without having to delete the Smart Plans.
