I agree with this idea! Even something as simple as just being able to edit the date of a meeting that was posted to a timeline. I had recent instance where I met with a client over the weekend and accidentally added the meeting as being had on the following Monday. it would be great to be able to go back in and change the date to appropriately reflect what happened - or at least be able to delete the event and reinput it with the correct information. I can also see the benefit of adding the ability to update activities with additional comments as this post originally mentions!
