    Let us have access to all the modules on all the pages. Especially the home page! I can see no reason why I should not be able to add text by using a rich text module -- but for some reason it's not available?

    I agree! I cannot see any reason why those modules are excluded from the home page. I would specifically request the rich text module -- I want to add text and additional photos on the first page most people will see. This would also be helpful for SEO.
