Enable Task Search by Contact Name
While using the Task tab, I attempted to locate a specific task by searching the contact’s name, but this functionality doesn’t appear to be supported. I also reviewed the help documentation on the website and confirmed that the system currently does not allow task searches by contact name.
To locate the task, I had to use a workaround—clicking the colored labels on the side, selecting the red “Past Due” label, and manually scrolling through the list until I found it. This method was time-consuming, especially given the length of the task list.
Having the ability to search tasks by contact name (or full name) would significantly improve efficiency and reduce time spent locating specific tasks. Task names are often lengthy or not immediately recognizable, which adds to the challenge.
Since the CRM platform is regularly updated, I hope the programming team might consider adding this functionality in a future release.
