Create DYNAMIC Assignments for Opportunities
Regarding Task Lists under Opportunities (both Buy and sell)
In Opportunities (Seller or Buyer) when you're making Checklists, there's the ability to make tasks assignable.
Presently the options are self, "unassigned", or specific "team members" (you must pick an individual).
I'd like to see this be dynamic: For example, as the Rainmaker, if my Buyer's Agent makes an opportunity for a Buyer, I want all the tasks they're responsible for assigned to them. The field in the task list wouldn't be assigned to an individual, but rather their role ("creator" of the opportunity), while some tasks would be static and assigned to the Rainmaker and EA/Ops manager.
There'd be other tasks for myself as the rainmaker (such as "check status of opportunity") so that I can keep a line of sight on their transactions. I could also assign roles like "review contracts for compliance" to myself as the lead. By having a dynamic role, these lists will automatically assign tasks to the correct party based on who they are on the opportunity. If there are multiple agents, buyer or listing agents, they'd own the day-to-day activities on the opportunities they create, as templated by me, the rainmaker, in command.
Currently Command only allows you to pick a specific human for each task. This creates several problems:
1) The roles may change, thus requiring you to update the assignment to someone else if there's turnover
2) Since you cannot choose a role, the solution is to leave the task "unassigned" therefore it doesn't appear in the agent's task list (things get missed, lack of urgency). Otherwise you're spending a ton of time on each and every opportunity assigning tasks to the respective person.
3) If you were to assign/change roles, there's an IMMENSE amount of work necessary to go back and click each and every stage and role to make those changes, every single time.
4) This simply isn't scalable for larger teams.
