Ability to edit Estimated Closed Date after an offer has been accepted
After the latest Command update, agents are no longer able to edit the Estimated Close Date in the Opportunity after an offer has been accepted. It's important that agents are able to update the closing date as that is the date we sort files for Compliance.

With the most recent Command update, we’ve lost the ability to change a Close Date. This cannot be done on the Admin MC side, or on the Agent side. When I contacted Command Chat Support, this is what they said:
Christian Vazquez:
A commission termination request needs to be submitted first. Once the commission request has been terminated by your market center leadership, then the Closed Date can be edited.
This is because once a commission request is submitted, certain fields on the opportunity details, like the Closed Date, become locked.
My response: how would it affect the Commission/Offers? Would they be wiped and have to be re-done?
Christian Vazquez:
A new commission request would need to be made after the old commission request is terminated by market center leadership. [End]The Offer Tab and the Commission Tab are time consuming so no one is going to Terminate the Commission and then re-enter it just so a Closing Date can be updated. If the closing moves up, and we are unable to edit the closing date, the people reviewing for Compliance may not give priority to processing newly adding documents. For example, if the close date moves from December to October, the compliance people may think they have a lot of time to process the new documents when in fact, it's closing in the current month. This is why this is important. Please rectify. Thank you.
