Closed Opportunities are automatically archived 30 days after being moved! :)

Closed opportunities are able to be found within the All Opportunities Table. Within a closed pipeline phase, those Opportunities will fall off after 30 days. What is the reason to archive a closed opportunity? This would make those opportunities not count towards your numbers on the dashboard.
