Dynamic Sizing of Contacts Table View to Screen
When you show contacts, you must scroll a bunch. I have a vertical monitor to do database work on and the contacts view should dynamically size to the screen if larger than your standard. I can only see 10 contact on a 24" vertical screen.

I 100% agree with this! As someone who just came from using Sierra Interactive, this was one of the first things I noticed. Even on a large 34" monitor in landscape view, the small contacts box only supports 9-10 contacts at a glance, and you must scroll down to see more. There's a significant amount of blank, unused space at the bottom of the screen, so it feels claustrophobic.

I have a second widescreen monitor that can rotate 90 degrees into a portrait orientation (transforming it into a tall screen). I have it permanently set up this way because it makes viewing and working with long lists easier (like email, calendars, etc.)
Most of the applets adapt well to this, extending all the way to the bottom of the screen. The contacts applet, however, behaves like it is locked in at a fixed aspect ratio, and doesn't extend to the bottom of the screen, even when trying to view 500 contacts per page.
For improved functionality and consistency across the platform, I propose this be addressed, and the contacts applet be made to behave like the tasks applet (for example) when used on different displays.
