If/Then Functions for Opportunity Task Checklists
For checklists, I would like to set up "If-then" scenarios where if a box is checked then another checklist appears. In other words, make a checklist item a question and then based on the answer, have different checklists populate that apply to that answer. For example, Checklist Question: Inspection Results; Answers: a) Satisfactory, deal moving forward; b) Unsatisfactory, Repairs Needed; c) Dissatisfied, withdrawal from deal
IF inspection is checked as "Dissatisfied", THEN another checklist for Mutual Releases/Withdrawal from Transaction is added. IF inspection is Unsatisfactory and requires repairs to move forward, another checklist item displays for adding an addendum, etc. IF satisfactory and no further negotiations are needed, THEN another checklist is added with next steps and the stage is then complete and ready to move to next stage.
There are other If/then scenarios that can arise too, that may require different steps depending on the situation, but it would be nice to not have to type in an entire checklists over again for typical situations that may not apply to every deal, but do come up from time to time.
