OPT in or OPT out option for Verification Code
Unlicensed Admins and Transaction Coordinators require access to agents’ Command accounts in order to properly TC files and support agents with database management, SmartPlans, and other operational tasks.
Currently, agents must provide one-time verification codes for this access. In practice, agents are not always immediately available to share these codes, which has become a significant and ongoing frustration within our Market Center.
As a brokerage, we do not release commission payments until a file has been fully cleared and approved by our Compliance Officer. When Admins and TCs are unable to access Command in a timely manner due to verification delays, this directly impacts file clearance and ultimately delays agent payments. This creates unnecessary bottlenecks, increased internal frustration, and negatively affects agent satisfaction. Unhappy agents are not an option for us.
We strongly recommend that agents be given the ability to opt out of this additional verification step for approved Admins and TCs—similar to how other platforms allow users to manage two-step verification preferences. This option would be elective, giving agents full control while allowing Market Centers to operate efficiently and compliantly.
Providing this flexibility would:
Improve operational efficiency
Prevent unnecessary payment delays
Reduce agent and staff frustration
Support compliance workflows
Enhance overall agent experience
We believe this solution balances security with real-world brokerage operations and would be a meaningful improvement for Market Centers and agents alike.
Thank you for your consideration.

I don't know what changed recently, but every time I have to log into an account it asks for a new verification code. Before I just needed it once and as long as I didn't use a different browser, I was fine. This is extremely frustrating for me as a TC but also as an agent. I get complaints from our other KWA agents all the time about it as well.

I use a TC. She has to call me on the road, I have to pull over.

I am in favor of removing the verification code as I always use a TC. This would surly help.

I am voting in favor of this recommendation. When attempting to log in quickly to obtain information, I have found the current process to be inefficient and not conducive to timely access.

I am in favor of removing the verification code as I do see on a daily basis how it interferes with transaction management.

I’m in favor of removing the verification code requirement for approved Admins and Transaction Coordinators. The code often expires while agents are in meetings or working, which creates unnecessary delays in file clearance and commission payments.

I am voting in favor of this recommendation. As a transaction coordinator for many KW agents it is time consuming and creates setbacks to have to reach out to agents every time I need to get into their command portals to input documents or do any data entry. Providing an opt-out option would truly improve productivity and time saving measures for myself as well as a lot of my agents. Thank you for this fantastic idea.

I am voting in favor of this recommendation. From an operational standpoint, verification code delays create unnecessary bottlenecks that impact compliance clearance and agent commission timelines. Additionally, as an agent, having to repeatedly enter verification codes on a trusted, regularly used device and browser is frustrating and inefficient. Providing an opt-out option for approved Admins, TCs, and trusted devices would balance security with real-world use, improve productivity, and significantly enhance the agent experience.
