Date-Based Smartplans
I would love for there to be an option for date based SmartPlans. Where you can excluded weekends or even trigger SmartPlans to happen on certain days. For example similar to the birthday plan and home anniversary plan, have where you can do a wedding anniversary smartplan or even on certain holidays have it trigger that way you don't have to remember to set it up X amount of days before the holiday.

Command SmartPlans need true calendar-based email scheduling.
A CRM exists for two core reasons: to help agents work the opportunities in front of them, and to nurture the people who are not ready yet. Right now, Command handles basic drip sequencing, birthdays, and home anniversaries, but it does not appear to support custom calendar-based nurture campaigns where emails can be scheduled for specific months or dates.
That creates a major problem for real estate agents.
Seasonal nurture is not optional in this business. Seller-prep emails need to go out in January and February. Second selling-season messaging should hit in July, August, and September. Holiday emails need to land near the actual holiday. Monthly market updates need to align with the current month, not wherever a contact happens to be in a delay-based sequence.
Without true calendar-based SmartPlan logic, agents are forced to either create multiple duplicate SmartPlans by start month, manually manage seasonal emails, or use a separate CRM/email platform to run the back-end nurture program. That defeats a major purpose of having Command as the central CRM.
The system already supports date-based logic for birthdays and home anniversaries. Please make that same type of scheduling available for custom SmartPlans.
Requested feature:
Allow custom SmartPlans to send emails based on fixed calendar dates or recurring calendar rules, such as:
- Send every January 15
- Send on the first Tuesday of each month
- Send during the week before Thanksgiving
- Send on the first day of a selected month
- Skip past calendar dates when a contact is added mid-yearThis should be one of the highest-priority Command improvements because long-term nurture is one of the primary reasons agents use a CRM in the first place.

I saw this and thought it would be amazing to be able to build a smart plan around specific events. 7 days before x date, 2 days after x date, etc.

Currently, SmartPlans allow delays and fixed date triggers, but they do not support advanced recurring scheduling patterns such as:
1st Monday of every month
3rd Thursday of each month
Last Friday of each quarter
Custom RRULE-style recurring logic
This feature would be extremely helpful for agents who want to schedule consistent monthly touches like:
Client check-in calls
Newsletter reminders
Social media prompts
Equity report updates
Vendor outreach
Event promotions
Right now, agents must manually recreate SmartPlans each month or build complicated workarounds using delays and re-enrollment, which increases admin time and creates room for error.
Adding a recurring weekday-based scheduling option would:
Save agents significant time
Improve consistency in follow-up
Reduce manual duplication
Increase SmartPlan adoption
Strengthen Command as a true automation tool
Many calendar platforms (Google Calendar, Outlook) already support this functionality. Bringing similar recurring logic into SmartPlans would make Command significantly more powerful for long-term automation strategies.

is this almost complete?

SmartPlans should have the ability to automatically trigger from dates and custom fields (like Closing Date, Home Anniversary, or a custom Birthday field). This would make automations more powerful and eliminate the need for manual setup each year.

Can this please be put to the top of the smartplan to do list? I want to set and forget at the beginning of the year for all of the holidays. And the ability for new contacts to pick up mid-year without receiving all of the previous steps at one time.

I can't believe that a system that is used by as many agent as KW has could be this limted. I just switched from a different brokerage that used Lofty and all of this functionality was available there. This needs to be implemented as soon as possible.

Need the SmartPlan to be triggered off a date provided (such as a Birthday) - we send birthday cards and mid-year follow up text messages to 100s of agents. We would love to add the agent and then the platform would base the steps off the days since birthday for mid-year follow ups.

Yes, please make SmartPlans to be triggered by date and reoccurring date not a set number of days. For example if I want a newsletter to be able to release on the 1st of every month. Having to set 30 or 31 days isnt necessarily going to release on the first of each month.

So I know the idea for a smart plan being able to be activated on a specific calendar date has been posted and is "in the back log", but I wanted to make sure beyond that functionality, that we would be able to add new contacts to our smart plans and they get those touches based on that date the smart plan has been created for. For example, if I wanted to create a smart plan that sent out Christmas celebrations, I want to be able to add a contact to that smart plan at any point in the year and it still only creates that touch on the pre set date within the smart plan.
Additionally, I'd love to see some diversity with that function. For example, we all know what date Christmas and Easter fall on, but for Islamic holidays, which follow the lunar calendar, it isn't always the same date each year. This could be super critical for some communities so that they don't just receive your Christmas well wishes, but it also lets us as agents create that automated touch on a holiday that means something to them, such as Ramadan, Eid Al Fitr, and Eid Al Adha.
Also, this could be good for creating a touch for things like Super Bowl Sunday or Labor Day which always falls on the second Sunday of February and the first Monday of September respectively, rather than a specific calendar date.

Smart Plans and Tasks in Smart Plans I should be able to trigger by date and not have to set by a period of time that goes by.

Right now, this is something that I do manually. It would be great to have something set up as automatic. Thanks

I would like to have a KW smart plan that would send an email to the contact on the Home anniversary date listed in their contact record. Similarly I would like a smart plan that sends an email to contacts on their birthday that is listed in their contact record. It should be an automatic trigger not a task to manually go in and send the emails, texts, etc. I would like this to be reoccuring annually based on the date in the contact record

Also intuitive smart plans for things like holidays that know where to start in a plan. AOK if it's a choice to be made when the smartplan is applied to a contact, but if I have a plan for quarterly handwritten notes and the instructions to agent are regarding holiday wishes to the client, and the client is added mid year, it would be useful to be able to start them on Q3 or Q4 activity instead of starting at the beginning and having to manually toggle them from there.

I am 100% in agreement with this. For example, set up a monthly newletter for the entire year with dates (not days in between) for the newletter to be sent. So as you aquire contacts and leads, you can add them to the monthly newletter plan in the middle of the year and they will be added to whatever the next month is. Right now, you have to manually copy the plan, delete the previous months, then add the new contacts to the plan for each month.
