Suggestion for Enhanced Sorting Functionality in Custom Fields on KW Command
In our workflow, we use a custom field to track the "Last Dial" date for our contacts. However, I noticed that custom fields do not support sorting, unlike the built-in columns, which automatically allow sorting by clicking on the column header. I experimented with various custom field types (Text Field, Date, Number, etc.), but none enabled sorting.
Implementing a sorting feature for custom fields, particularly for date-related entries, would streamline data management and improve efficiency for users who rely on custom tracking metrics.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and please let me know if additional details would be helpful.

We use Custom Fields to record customer property preferences bedrooms, bath, sq ft, etc so when our team gets a listing we can search our DB to find the customers that match the criteria the best. This Advanced Search functionality of Custom Fields does not seem to exist. It would be an excellent resource!!

Within the Contacts applet, there seems to be no way to search for a dropdown option from a Custom Field. For example, I have 2 farm areas. I have a custom field called "Farm Area:" and the contact could be in either of the 2 options.
I can't use the Filter/search criteria to sort these people.
In the Custom Fields videos online, the example that keeps coming up is pie flavours. Same thing applies: If I want to know how many of each type of pie I need to get, there's no way to see the contacts who have each type.

I would like to be able to search for the Custom Fields that I created. Within the search bar and "Filters" sections (including "Advanced) this current doesn't seem possible.
Using the example that videos seem to use: if I have types of pies that clients prefer, I'd like to be able to search for all clients who like different types of pies.
Or, whether a checkbox is checked or not.
Or, a date range (I'd like to use these for closing dates for client's investment properties)
Or any of the other types of Custom Field types.
Why have custom fields if we can't search them?
Please add search functionality to be able to search by custom fields.

We have dates that are important to our clients entered as manual fields and it would be nice if we could use smartviews to sort these clients by when this date is.
