Allow Merging of Duplicate Contacts at Import

I have tried to import my Database from a 3rd party CRM via a CSV file. I have many contacts already in Command from doing Opportunities over the last several years. However I have used my other CRM religiously for many years and wanting to get everything into Command. We now have an option to merge duplicates within Command but not as we import them in. It does not import the duplicate contacts. Which has halted my attempt to import and use Command to its fullest potential. I don't have time to import each person individually as I have hundreds so the system allowing us to Import what we want and merge them once imported would be a game changer for those of us in other systems.

    This has been a huge issue for me and very very very time consuming. The system should allow duplicates. If I want a duplicate email or phone for my contacts that should be my choice. But the system should not hault an import because a duplicate was found. Rather yet, it should allow the import and then you have the option to merge duplicates like Google contacts does. It can't be that complicated in order to have a user friendly experience. This is very important fix for agents who have used another CRM and now ready to start using Command. But because they have duplcates due to prior opportunities etc it makes the process overwhelming. I really hope you will make this a top priority.

    I am also asking for when you upload a CSV instead of failing d/t duplicate email or phone number, ask to merge the contacts and add notes or updates. I would also like to use this to mass update tags.

    Instead of getting a fail log because the office phone number or email address is already in use, allow importing contacts to update already existing contacts.

    Identify Duplicates and give options to add NEW information to the uploads. This should work from both the mobile app and from a csv file we upload on the desktop version.

    Instead of the contact import failing, I would like to see the contact record appended with the new information. The system should give you to the option of not appending and stopping the import for that contact, overwriting existing data or overwriting just blank fields.

    The system should also allow the importing of activities, not just notes ie a call activity with description, etc

    All this should be true whether importing via a file or through Zapier
